how the hell did get to this point from geforce? lol. do you mean apply filter after launching the game by pressing alt+f3?
i honestly dont see how optimizing would do it since once you optimized it, only the graphics settings will be changed. and the geforce would still show the "game is not supported" error.
i did my fair share of research and imo its mainly server sided. the errors are mainly caused by two errors:
the part where geforce dont update their shit that even tho the webpage says the game is supported they havent auto-delivered the ota updates. so you have to check forums to manually add it. this is fixable
filter is more or less on the behest of the devs or the version of gpu or geforce you have. eg. some games dont even allow filters so devs block it for the meantime like in valorant or cod
i believe in your case, youre probably on 3080 with beefy rig, and you more or less able to do shit. it just takes awhile.
ps. i could be wrong in all of these but i cant be bothered anymore too much hassle just to make things look better for my taste.
