That’s one of the things that really pisses me off about Berners. This claim that “msm” blacked out Bernie and propped up Biden or others. It was difficult to escape Bernie on my screen for a long time especially after the election, no matter which channel I looked at. Bernie got a shitload of free publicity on cable news for the last 4 years, did fuckall with it aside from bashing Democrats and barely saying anything negative about Trump or Republicans, completely wasted his 4 year head start, and somehow the media is to blame for that? I stopped watching cable news in 2017 - this idea that everyone who voted for Biden or dislike Bernie are somehow only consuming CNN or whatever cable news network for their information is not just insulting - it speaks more to their ignorance about the population as a whole. I guess everyone who isn’t subscribed to a pro-Bernie subreddit is an ignorant CNN viewer who is incapable of free thought or a different opinion. Also, there were a dozen primary candidates. I suppose everyone should’ve been ignored except Bernie, or that Bernie should’ve gotten the lions share of coverage. That, afterall, would’ve been the only fair thing to do.
