Was at the Austin event for SXSW. I don’t think it’s been discussed on here a lot, but Dan really showed the kind of guy he is and how much he cares for the fanbase after the last show. The whole cast took time to mingle with the audience, and I was struck by how many wanted to get a word of thanks into Dan. Not only did he hear everyone out, he stuck around at least 20 min past the point that his security/logistics/whatever person started forcibly urging him to move on to whatever was on his schedule. Love or hate his commentary, Dan’s a stand up guy and I think it just went to show part of the reason why they have such a strong fanbase.
