Dude. People are enjoying themselves, anime lovers are not necessarily thirsty bastards who never touched a woman in their life, some are very tame and really dedicated to their artwork.

Drawing an Anime character is simple because you're using a human as the base model, so technically anyone can draw a character, but the rest if up to the artist, and the quality of it is subjective; as anime conveys plenty of styles.

Also, in my experience, there are more girls that love anime than there's guys, but you won't see them entering their comic stores alone in a scantly clad outfit tho (unless they ask you for money to take a picture). You'll see more of them online (almost all streamer girls i've seen so far love at least one kind of anime, about 80% of them).

But I'm no expert and I hate anime really really much, but i don't think liking Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh! Counts for me as they're Staples.
