Just because it makes them uncomfortable, it doesn’t mean they’re homophobic. If a gay man see’s two women making out and it makes them uncomfortable does that mean he’s homophobic? I don’t think so. It really depends on why they’re uncomfortable. If they were uncomfortable because they think it’s wrong of for a male to give another male a lap dance then that would be homophobic. If it makes them uncomfortable because they’re subconsciously empathizing with what they’re seeing (what humans do constantly), ie imagining themselves in that situation, then that’s not homophobic. That’s just preference. PDA can make people uncomfortable, regardless of sexual preference. Doesn’t mean people are against it, they just prefer not to see it.
