Thanks Xbox

Here's what I put in my appeal: I don't understand how an acronym can offend someone. I don't see how that message is offensive in any way at all, I would like to see a legitimate reason on how that can harm someone. The person was being a bad player overall, they were not having good sportsmanship in-game. They were intentionally throwing the match and that person was not trying to help the team win the match. They would on purposely run away and leave me to die as the team's healer. I was the healer of that match and they would just stand in front of me at full health and constantly complain about how they need healing. I would also like an explanation on what part of my message, "stfu about healing" was offensive. I meant the polite term for, "stfu" it's even in google if you google the acronym itself. The acronym itself could be composed of different words that aren't offensive at all. I seriously don't see how the message I sent could have harmed anyone or caused anyone harm in any way.

Here's what XBLPET Gamma said: Hello,

The “F-word” and any iteration of it are not appropriate for the service, especially when directed at other players. Please note, attempts to obscure offensive content, such as with acronyms, is still viewed as its original form and with inflammatory intent.

We feel strongly that all gamers deserve to be welcomed, respected and supported. No matter who you are, where you come from, or how you play, everyone deserves an enjoyable Xbox Live experience. If the actions of others result in a player feeling unwelcome or unsafe, the entire community is affected. Even if the behavior was intended as smack talk or was in response to another player’s conduct, harassment is never appropriate.

During this suspension the account may continue to access the Xbox Live service, including online multiplayer, but communications features will be restricted. This includes messaging, video communications, in-game and party chat, and Skype on Xbox One. At the conclusion of the suspension all communication functionality will be automatically restored.
