The Bell Curve takes two things, race and intelligence, and compares them. Life is much more complicated than that. Educational inequality and racism has played a HUGE part in the inequities we now see and is a more than adequate explanation to the supposed disparity discussed in the Bell Curve.

IQ is a very small picture of intelligence. It is the results of one test that shows a snapshot of a single day. While it can be useful, it isn’t definitive. The only reason it is so heavily relied upon is because it is a quantifiable measurement that allows for easy comparison. It cannot be the entire picture if we wish to get an accurate understanding of intelligence.
