I never get the impression that most people want the dude to live and find happiness. I see most people with tragedy bonors saying he has to either die without accomplishing a thing like op said at the hands of his buddies or live after killing all his buddies and suffer with the regret of killing all his friends
What are you based on for saying "most" ? You need a number on which you are based to say that the majority of people think that... Personally every time I see someone who wants to see Kaneki suffer or die this person is downvoted and those who wish the happiness of Kaneki are upvoted.

As you just said I don't feel targeted or offended it's just that you speak as if the majority of readers of TG want the death of Kaneki even though you don't know and that's probably not the case. You see 10, 20, 30 people say the same thing and then you assume that everyone thinks the same...
I have seen a lot of stories genre tragedy that have done well not killing the lead off in the end and where just a series of tragic events and I have seen stories not in tragedy genre kill off their main character as a ending. Also when I say the main character does not have to die I am not saying everyone lives as that is what you seem to be assuming from my comment.
hm ok... but it doesn't change the fact that in most cases it ends with the death of the main character and/or the secondary characters so people who think that tragedies end with the death of the main character are not completely wrong. It's cool that you've seen a lot of stories but that doesn't prove anything because maybe it represents a minority compared to all the other stories.

If that is the case it's alluding to what's going on right now not the ending of TG(assuming this is not the last arc of TG) the foreshadowing of chapter 101 has already passed... I don't see why you're keep talking about that
