Theory in regards to the noise of the killings. Chloroform?

Wdym the information they release says they had been out drinking and the killer had likely attacked them while they’re asleep with the coroner stating they had multiple stab wounds to upper torso. Everyone literally has the knowledge I had. I’m just stating it’s probably hard to scream if your lungs had been punctured. I just watched a video a couple weeks ago where a couple tried to Uber chloroform a driver to steal their car. I read some comments that went into how hard it is to actually chloroform them which is why I stated that was unlikely. Based on what I read using chloroform would have created some type of initial struggle. I don’t actually know but it just seemed more likely they were stabbed and unable to scream.
