The theory of Somalis was never united before and shouldn't seek a union now.

Don't be small-minded, look at the bigger picture. Somalis as we know today have been around at least a century, what we're standing for is that history and the following century to come.

Using the modern concept of nation-states to ascertain who we are as a people is accepting mental colonisation. We might not have been under a united country before but ourselves and to outsiders we were always Somalis. One group, that had internal issues yes, but still one distinct group.

30 years is a blip when you look at it like that, every nation and people go through traumatic periods.

But ultimately, we are a homogeneous group with the same enemies who would love nothing more than to claim our lands, wipe out history and remove our religion for their self-preservation.
