Therapist recommended this book should I be worried?

For someone who is this committed to convincing people to read a book, I'm not sure why you have such disdain for mental health and throw the word "triggered" around so haphazardly. It is completely possible for someone to take issue with something without it being a "trigger." Your callous name calling does not attest to this book's ability to help oneself when you are becoming this incensed over people disagreeing with how she presents her ideas. It is unreasonable to suggest that reading a single book over a few days could ever amount to the work that can be done with a quality therapist, especially over multiple sessions. It is true that not everyone has access to therapy, but that doesn't make a self help book superior to all therapists. OP posted this because they already had their suspicions, it's not like we all got together and found them to inject paranoia into their head.
