Is there any reason to stop leveling?

For 750 levels there are the 8 attributes that book of reincarnation resets as often and however I like. Cost seems a lot in the beginning, later it is very cheap. Getting up to 750 seems hard, but consider that upper levels ( meaning the running of each “way”) of the game are increasingly difficult for missions and bosses. The Amrita reward value increases. At the end of my grind to 750, attribute levels were costing up to 20 billion, but through dlc missions I earned so much Amrita I could level multiple times each mission.

At 750 there are then four further focuses that can level up to 1000 total. These don’t reset but focus can be dropped with no compensation: in order to change builds. Nice thing here is, 1 to 1000, each level cost 3 billion. A trifle.

Abyss is really the way to go past 750 and get greater gear drops. I’m at lvl 750 with 322 focus. At abyss level 108, gear drops are +43-47 of a potential +129( ?). Gear levels up to 320. And now that I am at level 108 in abyss then I can go help others in abyss and no matter how far under in abyss a player is, I get primarily my level-in-abyss drops. I help out a lvl 10 and still get +45 drops

Abyss drawback are the rarity of the cracked cup and to go directly to the next level from a boss means you have only 1 plane to deal rather than 4. Great for those powering thru, and not so great when needing to get back to blacksmith often.

I have gone the way of soulmatching which lets me increase levels and +s through combining gear. Ising the logic that +1 combined with +1 is +2. It moves in increments of one up only from the first item. +2 combined with +20 gives +3. It goes that way up to +60 (I hear) then the combining requires a divine attribute of inheritance. So a +60 with inheritance is combined with my +50 to make it +60. Or so I suspect.

Going beyond the first play thru is interesting because the monsters or beasts behave differently, including revenants. There are different monsters. Dogs and foxes seriously suck. The four armed lightning sword dudes suck. Umbrellas suck. The ass punch from the turtles dudes sucks worst off all. There are so many different builds, styles and weapon combos. The last dlc gave us new moves that you get from gear or having so many of the set of gear on.

Going on in the game just depends on what interests you. It is possible to plow through doing the key missions and then, as levels and gear get better, go back and do the solo fights. For everything else summon a stranger.
