Is there any standard or widely-used "team comms structuring" type of document that contains a very efficient, simple, and granular-as-necessary system/framework for callouts? If not, would people be interested in one if I made it?

For games? I don't know. There could be, but you're better off developing your own technique.

First read this: https://www.computerworld.com/article/2565077/i-m-ok--the-bull-is-dead.html

Then read... damn, I'm sorry, I just can't find it. It was either in a book or an article, and someone who was either in EMS or some branch of the military explained how they streamlined radio communications for maximum efficiency. Basically, you change how you speak over a group channel:

  1. Say the name of the person you're contacting.
  2. Say who you are.
  3. Say what needs to be done.

So: "Mercy this is Reaper. Sombra stealth behind you" might be a good example.

Most of the time, people like to switch this process around. If you start with the recipient name, though, that immediately gets their attention and they hear the entire message. This lets them tune out of the constant noise.
