Was there any transphobia in one of the Adum and Pals videos?

I think the obvious answer to this question is yes, there are transphobic/offensive jokes in the videos. Pretty much everyone here agrees to it. People give it a pass because it's "obviously" satirical.

The dangerous thing about offensive humor on the internet is the fact that we really don't know who's on the receiving end of it. I'm sure there are a lot of people who thought Adum was homophobic until they found out that he is gay. This most likely means, Adums homophobic humor is on par with real homophobes. So, any given person MIGHT adapt those homophobic jokes into their personality/vocabulary. Plus real homophobes would reenforce their bigoted views.

"Maybe gay people are ________. Adum seems to think it, and I like him a lot so it's probably true."

Just to be clear, I am not saying you should never use offensive humor on the internet. I just think people should be more responsible with it. Offensive humor between good friends who are most likely not bigoted is probably fine, but releasing it to the internet MIGHT bring some unintended consequences. The let's play dynamic also reinforces that authentic vibe.

Not to say their videos are problematic, I'm just suggesting that it might not be as simple as "you need to grow a pair and learn how to take a joke".
