Is there any truth to "It's a good thing Opie is there to steer the ship, Ant and Jim need some direction?"

Would love to say no, but after listening to Jimmy with Amy and Kurt on his podcast this week, I'd have to say there's some truth to it. Both times he started talking about the Kurt shit without setting it up. Both times Serra had to stop it and say what the fuck are you guys talking about. Even then Jim acted like such a puss setting it up, that you'd really have no idea what was at stake and what the fuss was all about. It really highlighted how they all think this crap is a big deal in their little twitter/reddit/blogger comic world, but everyman regular joes like Serra (who represent most of the audience) are listening and thinking, chrissakes, what are these lil' fags getting all angsty about? And why is Kurt so upset if Jimmy's just shrugging his shoulders as if it is maybe kind of a big fuss about nothing. To make that compelling radio, Jimmy need to really set it up properly so that the audience would understand what was at stake for everyone involved in the controversy. But if you had no familiarity with the subject, you'd walk away thinking I dunno something something about rape, I couldn't follow, just put fighters on from now on. It's amazing that Serra had more radio instincts than Jimmy there.
