Am I The Asshole: r/bass edition Warning: TLDR Quit my band over some bullshit

So, lots of bullshit here but here's the skinny. We're recording an album using a home studio. They set up the bass rig for me to record week 1, I didn't make plans to come by as I had already made plans that weekend and didnt come by during the week. Week 2 I came to practice early to lay down some tracks but ultimately stopped before practice as I had some flare up of inflammation on my fretting wrist. Had my kid that weekend (weekend dads ftw) so I couldn't come by on the weekend. Week 3 we had show prep (we were playing on the weekend) and I came by for practice the night before. I had been resting my wrist due to inflammation.

Week 4 I had scheduled to come in on Thursday to track. Tuesday I get a text saying that our rhythm guitarist had recorded my tracks (for all songs, not just the 2 I tracked previously as the ones I laid down previously weren't up to snuff. Fair enough. I get a text on Thursday saying that they would be breaking down the bass rig to move on to 3rd guitar tracking. Ok. Not thrilled but I'd be willing to put in a late night to get everything done.

I show up to track. We get 3 songs with 3 good takes each. Recording is stopped (we have 8 songs). Apparently our sound engineer/backup guitarist only had availability that night. I'm pissed as I really wanted to record but had been busy, dealing with injury, etc. I quit the band as I felt I should have gotten a text if schedule was running that tight as I would have moved things around to make it happen.

So, am I the asshole for quitting or are my band mates the assholes for not giving me a heads up about scheduling issues?
