There is Atlanta and then the rest of Georgia

Its actually better on the PEDs side as peachcare is easier to get on than medicaid. But you've still got these parents that cant get care, and so they teach their kids to go to the ED for everything.

Kemp's plan is to offer tax breaks, which as a medical provider, Im sure will be good for me; however, I don't think it gets to the root issue of people not being seen in a preventative care capacity. So I could get a tax break, but if I hang a shingle in one of the counties without insurance, I still cant afford to practice, cause I dont get reimbursed for seeing anyone.

Now, maybe increasing internet access in rural areas will lead to jobs, which will lead to hospitals, but I just don't see big companies choosing quiet town GA when we lack transportation infrastructure to get people to cities so they can watch sportsball and eat at fancy restaurants.

And its probably Piedmont. Piedmont, Wellstar/kennestone and Navicent are more or less consolidating all the medical services in the state. Minus the little local religious places.
