There be bears

I live in Alaska. Not really concerned with where you vacation.

These bears were murdered.

Legally hunted

No one ate their flesh.

I know plenty of people who eat brown bear meat.

I've fished on the Kenai. It gets busy.

Just fabulous for you and very observant of you

But the people eat the fish.

Sure do! They use the resources they're legally allowed to harvest for their most desirable quality. See many of them using the bones, skin organs, eyes?

Were you not taught to eat what you kill?

I was taught to respect the resources that the country provides. No animal dies well in nature. There are no cozy retirement homes. It's all brutal. If an animal is open for hunting here it's either for their own good (over population > starvation) or because there is a need/want to hunt and the state strictly monitors populations to ensure balance continues.

Nobody who actually lives close with nature thinks like you do.
