Is there common racism between black/Asians?

Honestly, I think it's just ignorant and douchey. I actually think (but I'd be happy if someone proves me wrong so feel free :D) some Asian people just want to put people in boxes of stereotypes - black people are thuggy, white people are pretty, these people are smart, those people are dangerous...

Even my boyfriend who's probably the least racist person I've met told me something like "wow, black guys are really... tough." while we were watching Black Panther. I didn't really feel like having a discussion about his comment because he didn't even mean it in a harmful way or anything.

But I'd find your boyfriend's opinions really troublesome if I were you. Especially if he told me he doesn't want me bringing my friends home, like wtf??? Does he get to tell you what to do and what not to do in other situations too?

If mine told me something like this, I'd be done with him really fast. They are my friends. He should know me well enough to be sure my friends can't be bad people. He should trust me.
