I've had a few exes not quite love how coarse I can get in the way that I show affection. I'm a pretty well-mannered person if you don't know me very well, but I can be a right asshole once you do. I curse a lot more and do a little light roughhousing and will definitely push buttons just because I think it's funny. If I had to describe it in a particular way, I'd say that I actually get a little "bro-y" even though that's very emphatically not how I present at the outset. It's how I get once I let my guard down.

I think a couple of past exes were partly charmed by this behaviour but also partly turned off because they had this initial impression of me as someone who is a little more polished/ladylike. My current partner loves it. I can say "fuck you, asshole" to him and it'll just make him laugh louder. I feel like I can be my most unrefined self around him and he'll just throw back with equal savagery. It makes me happy to just be so raw.
