Do you think there is a large proportion of the population that has never taken the bus or public transit here before?

I really doubt that's the case for Translink. I'm not even sure they understand the concept of being a public transit company.

The specific route I'm referring to has been a major source of stress for drivers and commuters alike for years - a daily occurrence. It is the same problem, and the "fixes" that have occurred have had absolutely not addressed the actual problems, rather they just seem to make up work to show people that work is being done.

I've seen the same drivers on the same routes complain about the exact same problems for years. I have also often heard drivers complain about having their feedback dismissed by management -essentially telling them to "just shut up and drive the bus".

If planners aren't going to take feedback from the people that are actually on the road, then they aren't really doing their jobs.

Besides, as a commuter, I do not appreciate shitty companies causing the person who is driving the public bus to be stressed out or have to face angry customers on a daily basis while still trying to maintain a safe environment.

From what I've seen, I really doubt if any decision-maker in Translink has ever taken a public bus.
