As I've already explained, this is categorically untrue. London (and the South East) subsidises the rest of the UK - they produce a budget surplus which supports the rest of the country. You are more than welcome to argue that London and the South East should be doing more to help the rest of the country, as others here have done - I completely respect that point of view and I am grateful for the thoughtful responses I've received to my question. What I do not respect is misinformation and/or abuse, which is what you are doing.
