Jessie. I met her on Myspace, we hit it off immediately, and I moved 9 hours away to be closer to her. It was only a few months, and I unexpectedly lost my place to stay. She wanted me to find a place in her town (I had been staying about an hour north of her) but insisted I go back to where I started and she join me later. We agreed and off i went.

We were young and having trouble figuring out money and living arrangements. Eventually we spent so much time apart we agreed to not be a couple, but stay in each other's lives. We spoke frequently and often talked about getting back together when we figured things out. We both dated other people and helped each other with relationship advice. We stayed very good friends for years.

She eventually got with a guy she was crazy about. She had suspicions she was pregnant. I told her I was still waiting for the day. She said she was too. We were joking, but only a little. We never stopped being in love, despite a short time together and many years apart.

Her boyfriend wound up murdering her while high as fuck on drugs back in 2012. They found him walking down the street naked, covered in blood, with part of his intestines hanging out from self inflicted knife wounds. She didn't fare nearly as well.
