I honestly think the 5 hit kill is negligible due to the Aerosprays range and kit, which puts it ahead of the Sploosh. The main thing the Sploosh has going for it is accuracy. The kit is horrible though.

Meanwhile people like to say the Aerospray is outclassed by the Splattershot Jr, but the Jr is so insanely inaccurate it's worse at fighting than the Aerosprays by a noticeable quantity. The Aerospray does the job better. In fact the Jr is completely outclassed by the Splat Roller of all weapons.

I refuse to agree that the extra hit on the Aerospray makes it a bad weapon. In fact SRB2's tier list agrees it's better than the Sploosh.

The Aerospray has a weird mix of haters that want to trash it, and people that got hung up on some influencer's TTK meta that doesn't really pan out in practice as far as this weapon class goes. That extra millisecond is making or breaking you. If you're not accurate enough to kill with the Aerospray, you would have lost the duel with a Sploosh as well.
