There’s a definite tendency among some applicants to see URM as unfair or BS. This is why it exists. And if you think it isn’t needed...you’re not paying attention.

What the fuck? Your comment should definitely be re-written to not sound like "if you don't agree with me, you're wrong" because that's essentially what you are saying. Your dean made a great point that requires a lot of unpacking and balancing of MANY perspectives to get a true grasp of the situation (and that true grasp is not necessarily correct and may be different across individuals).

When you say that anyone that wants to be a lawyer must accept your views, I see no difference from Biden saying "if you don't vote for me, you ain't black." Stop disqualifying others because they aren't who you want them to be. I do believe you don't mean to be so polarizing and (in honesty, as I read it) hateful. Please think more carefully about how your words come across.
