I appreciate you voicing your opinion. You’re correct that she has made unfortunate, racially-charged comments about Islanders and Islam in her 80s. However, it does little to diminish the work she’s done in her lifetime for feminism and animal rights. I maintain, she’s incredible. Similarly, the Suffragettes were largely racist, and cared little for lower-class women’s rights. Would I take issue with that same branch of feminism being displayed by young people in 2019? Absolutely. But in my book, the Suffragettes were still incredible, when viewed through the lens of their time.

I’d prefer not to get into anymore of this on a Bachelor sub, and would like to leave it at that. Thanks, y’all.
