I am from Brazil, the place where people dont care at all for any measure, either duo to stupidity (rich kids going to parties because they are "tired of being treated like kids") or for lack of options (people that need money to eat the next day and need to work no matter what).

It is funny that you say "People who die have underlying deceases and would’ve died with a normal flu" when just in my small social circle I know of 7 people that died, from those 7, only 1 was older than 60yo...

I guess that the other 6 died just by coincidence, all on the same year, on the same way, how ironic is the universe right? In my hometown every single hospital is operating on over 100% occupancy on the ICT, with people lining up to be intubated, many of those dying while doing that.
