Is there a stranger you’ve never forgotten about, what was it about them?

I was waiting at the bus stop, and an older man was very obviously taking pictures of me. I wasn't exactly sure what to do since I wasn't feeling confrontational and on the off-chance he wasn't taking pictures of me, I did not want to come across as a self-centered idiot, so I just moved around a tree so that I was hidden from his view. He proceeded to follow me around the tree and continued to take pictures/record me. Before I could even react to him doing this, a woman came speeding into the parking lot near the bus stop in a SUV, jumped out of her car while it was still running, and confronted this dude on how inappropriate/rude it is for him to do this. She said some things about how it's illegal and she would call the cops, which was just an empty threat as he wasn't technically doing anything illegal, but it was enough to get him to take his bike and walk away. I was so thankful for that woman and will never forget her and hope I can do the same for another person who has trouble standing up for themselves.

For context, not sure if it matters, I was under eighteen at the time and the buses this town were nearly all used by alcoholic, middle-aged to older men... and the man taking pictures of me reeked of alcohol and had a knife attached to his belt, which is common for these men in my area, but it still brings a certain level of fear of the worst.
