Why is there such a stigma about how black women look? I mean you can see it all over this site and I experience it irl (since I am in tech)

Considering the redditor comparison, you might be running into a particular crowd..

As for black women's looks, there are some pretty conflicting attitudes with weighty history behind them, which another comment pointed out. From the "what are you mixed with?"/"pretty for a black girl" lines to ridiculous things like Simone Biles' alleged "white girl voice" (yes, some people actually tried to make that a thing). I admittedly can't relate since I'm not all that attracted to Beyonce; I find black women who are, for lack of a better phrase, blacker looking to be more attractive—think Jennifer Hudson, Diahann Carroll, etc. Also tend to like somewhat thicker, top-heavy women, and black women seem to be well represented in that category.

Based on your facial features, you seem closer to Eurocentric beauty standards than many black women, aside from skin tone. It's understandable that you want to date in your social circle, but it's clearly not working. Not as convenient as DoorDash for food or home gyms for fitness, but there's only so much of the human experience we can make convenient. Just my two cents.
