is there a way to ask a doctor for a type of medicine without seeming like a drug seeker?

na you'd be better off being honest saying it didnt work what are other options, dont mention specifics if your past wanting hydros. theres way better stuff then tramadol. nucynta is better but i hear you go into wd pretty bad when you dont have a dose. if you say that hydros dont work hed probably do oxycodone, because obviously your not new to opiates. if that doesnt work. the doctor just goes down the list. just dont say only one thing works thats the thing that fucks shit up. you just have to state what works and what doesnt. and you have to comply. who knows maybe lyrica would help with pain but if you approach it honestly and with the right intention you'll be fine. you might have to go to pain management though to be getting oxycodone, morphine etc.
