There Were Some Moments In Season 1 Where It Seemed Like Caitlin Could Go Full On Frost At Any Moment.

Her behaviour and thought process of how her character acts is erratic, contradictory, and devoid of logic.

This perfectly describes Caitlin when it comes to both Ronnie and Killer Frost.

We're the flash is the dumbest statement made in the show.

Debatable. Genius scientist Cait asking "What's a singularity?" takes the cake. What kind of doctor is Caitlin by the way? I don't know and neither do the writers.

Her strong love for Barry teetering between not liking Barry based on the wind blowing shows her lack of writing.

That would be Caitlin with Ronnie. One day she decides to get drunk at a bar instead of looking for her fiancé, the next Ronnie is back to being her big love. One day she kisses fake Barry back, the next she's married to Ronnie. It's enough to give you wisplash and "shows her lack of writing".

And the logic of when and where she decides to follow the pattern of being a bad ass and genius or a damsel in distress makes no sense.

A three-dimensional character can have badass moments and moments of vulnerability.

Caitlyn being cradled in Barry's arms as the fled firestorms nuclear release in season 1 was incredible - the pain and love in her eyes as she looked back at her love knowing she probably wouldn't see him again.

Too bad she had decided to abandon her love to his fate just the episode before.

The comedic relationship interaction of killer Frost and Caitlyn passing notes to eachother is comedy gold.

I didn't laugh once. Caitlin chuckling at Killer Frost's murderous ass leaving blood on her clothes is not funny.

Don't pretend there aren't any reasons Iris is a sub par character and then say my message is full of dog whistles.

Iris could use better writing and so could Caitlin. Your message is full of dog whistles for another reason and that has to do with your inability to see Iris as a sweet, caring and supportive character.

Some people like Iris and some people like Snow, but judging the performances objectively can show Iris is definitely a weak character.

Some people don't like Snow. Some people hate Iris so much they are in desperate need of a random female character they can exploit to bash her. Since Patty left eons ago, Caitlin is their only option.

Caitlin and Snowbarry are being praised in this comment section for something that never happened.

Judging by the performances, Candice Patton is the better actress. She's the one who won a legitimate award for her role as Iris which is something that can be used to make an objective claim more than anything else.
