Is there a "yelp" for doctors in Portland?

You don’t just describe OHP here, you also describe uk’s free healthcare NHS system and the free healthcare in Canada .. 7+ months of waiting to see specialists .. the best of the best doctors quit because why spend 8-12 years in school just to be told “no, we are not paying you what you could make if you were a private practice”

This is also why most people in Canada have to buy extra health insurance since the government won’t cover vision, dental, prescription drugs, rehabilitation, etc.

And people in the UK regularly fly out of the UK because NHS regularly has over 400,000 patients waiting well over 18 weeks for treatment.

A few Asian countries quickly saw pneumonia, bed sores and staph infections steadily rise after introducing free healthcare..

Sure, it’s nice to be “free” - but it’s not actually free because taxes would be raised, and it’s not really “better” unless you’re part of the group who never had healthcare coverage to begin with.
