There's a field of text here telling me to speak my mind, so here we go

Sure thing.

When I woke up today I was just a moderately happy young female scot, living in britain. I finished my schoolwork, drew some dragons for about twenty minutes, then got on reddit. I was browsing r/Jontron when I thought "Hmm, I've never been to r/europe, wonder what that's like". So I typed in the url and found this. No interesting historical facts about europe. No general news about social or economical developments. No discussions about the EU, laws, or anything.

Instead, pages and pages of nothing but hate, extremism, and supremacy. As someone who enjoys seeing human beings as human beings regardless of their skin colour, nationality, religion (I personally think all religions are outdated and full of shit, but what can you do) or ancestry I found this simply appalling.

I don't want european women to endure rape. But you're implying all raoe crimes ever were because of immigrants. No, there are rapists everywhere. There are racists everywhere, there are thieves everywhere, there are foot fetishists everywhere, there are atheists everywhere, there are gays everywhere, there are complete cunts everywhere. I get that refugees cause a lot of problems. I get that people are proud of their home and don't want to share it. But saying all problems are because of immigration is almost EXACTLY how the holocaust was set in motion about 100 years ago.

What I want for people to do is simple:

Stop hating and blaming refugees, and start hating and blaming corrupt governments, dictators, et cetera. Here's what's happening.

A and B are neighbours. A watches as B punches it's kid and tries to kill it. B junior runs to A, who grudgingly accepts it for the moment. Instead of doing something about B, it watches as A junior spits at and kicks B junior. B junior, meanwhile, is scared and confused and worried for it's sibling who is still in B's house and could be dead.

I just think it's wrong on every level to be so hateful of someone because of where they were born. And I think this kind of thing shouldn't be on r/europe, but more something like r/EuropeRight or r/KillAllBlacks.

I do not mean to force you to do anything but think. It isn't the immigrants' fault they will be executed if the go back home. I know a fifteen year old kid who walked and swam here with his ten year old brother from afghanistan. Do you think they wanted to leave behind everything they knew to go to a strnge country far away where they knew nobody and people throw rocks at them? Don't you think it'd be smarter to throw rocks at the people making them flee?
