"There's nothing to mourn about..." - Charles Bukowski [640x582]

Can you hear [this]?

. There are those who accept sorrow because it contains truth, and to them, the mostly effervescent things that most all of us entertain ourselves with reminds them of the problems that they know only need to be looked at directly to disappear forever. When they say "look, isn't that funny?", and the whole world says "what are you talking about? I don't see anything..", you get very sad, then you grow angry; then you grow cold; then you become distant; then you forget what it means to feel connected to those around you; then you try to forget what you've seen- to tell yourself that you are wrong, because what could be worth this price? You become a sort of superficial force for good, thinking that that's the best you can do to make a change, and as you pick up litter, more shows up, and it never stops showing up, and it never even slows down. Even if you walk your basket at walmart in from the outside, and park it in the basket corral, your car will still get dinged by others' negligence. Even if you become a shining light of positivity, you cannot make others hear you, because in many cases, you have forgotten the truths that led to your beliefs, and if not, you certainly can't expect others to resonate with you because you say to.

So, you grow a little sorrowful. You see that one man is truly powerless, but you just keep trying, and it just keeps weighing on you until you are full to the brim of things which you alone can feel, yet are so intrinsically good and true, if Gautama Buddha said you were doing it wrong, you would think "oh even the Buddha can be mistaken", not with judgement or tension of any sort, but as you would notice the color of something.

You go inside, then, but the great thing about only seeking good is that there's really only one path, and so sometimes you meet people who are walking it, too, and those are like.. Man.. I'm going to be cliche, but those are some straight up Oasis in the Desert moments.

Sometimes people like that can find love, and when that happens, it smooths the rough edges of you that you weren't aware of simply due to having kept them in the dark for so long, and then, sometimes, they will make one last attempt at helping, but it seems so weary that most people want nothing to do with it.

And here we are! :D
