This bench isn't designed to solve homelessness, it's designed do that people that actually just need to sit for a few have somewhere to do it.

No. I'm saying hostile architecture doesn't fucking solve the problem, and the cited example of needing them; The west coast cities, are in fact an example of why they don't work.

The only thing they achieve is moving homeless around, thus it's only a solution if you create dedicated dumping zones. That is to say, if all you care for in a solution is to move the homeless out of the rich neighbourhoods and into the poor neighbourhoods.
