It looks like you explained it poorly.

Doing a return for one year is incredibly easy with a free tax software (that you can get from the CRA website). Just a T4 or two and a little other info - you can point and click your way through in like an hour.

But the free tax clinics would be very useful for people who haven’t filed in years, want to file jointly, or want to claim everything they regarding their kids to save a few dollars. They could be disabled and are unaware of RDSPs (clinic would probably inform them). These are just a few of many benefits a low income person could get from a tax clinic. Or maybe they just have questions.

But I mean... you didn’t mention any of that to anybody in your post - no offence.
