These kids, man.

dont hate me for saying this, please but i hate this sort of talk, the ah ha moments and you are the best teacher in the world.

Ive witnessed way too many incidents which damage far more than a sentence said which could in truth be all you want to hear . . .kind of what you turn into WHEN at interview.

EG there was a friend of mine who had the most disruptive class in the world, i taught the same class, so did some "outstanding teachers" the outstandings never seemed to be in on those days and booked meetings during the class, it was pretty easy to see. He got pulled into a capability meeting explaining how he couldnt control classes. well believe me. noone could control this class and the other students didnt seem to mind this guy. Anyway, one day a girl got into some trouble and said something along the lines of mrX doesnt help me he just plays on his phone all lesson. He got called to the head, couldnt really explain the claim only that he had somne converters for distances on his phone which he used when doing one 2 one bits in the class for help. He got forced out of the job for this. turns out, this girl wasnt even in his class!!!

I have 8 career ending stories which i was very good friends with the people and its utterly shocking what the 'business' model might actually be in some low-mid range schools with budget issues.

for me, i like teaching, i like preparing the lesson getting involved myself and then delivering it. it really is a 60/40 on satisfaction with me and this career.

i may have digressed a little . . TLDR dont listen to that stupid fucking talk. This is your job and rarely the kids are never on your side! Sorry peeps, dont hate me but im described as a good-oustanding teacher, im pretty young . . ish, love doing the job but its more fucking work for the money you get but what else can i go into which pays the same. ive never found anything!
