These rhinoplasty & jaw reduction surgeries (when done right) makes them a whole new person

I’m a Greek American with a big Greek nose. I’m proud of it and I’m confident of my good looks, too.

The real problem is how people are made to feel ugly for having a big or small (insert body part). I can only speak for the United States here, but my country is obsessed with a particularly Northern/Northwestern European beauty standard in many ways still. Here’s a news flash, what are perceived to be “big noses” are just a regular feature of people, especially if you’re from particular regions of the world, or of certain ethnic backgrounds (like Greeks). I see some idiots on here asking about the “evolutionary features” of big noses. It’s the same reason some people have blue or brown eyes, or blonde or black hair. It’s just differences in appearances. The nose still works the same way…

Go ahead. Get your nose job if you truly want it. If you can’t be happy without the nose job especially, then it’s surely worth it. But I’d venture a guess that if a nose job has become that vital for a person’s self esteem, there will be other surgeries as well because you can’t mask insecurities with surgeries forever.

And these vulture surgeons know what they’re doing. Shame on them.
