These scum are not justice warriors. They are just scum. [Another view on a situation in Croatian football]

First and foremost, I have to say I'm not a huge football (soccer) fan. I like to watch a game here and then, but I have no idea about the best clubs and players of the world. However, I do enjoy watching my national team perform on European and World Championships - the Croatian national team. I was so happy when Modrić scored against Turkey and was really excited for our match after that as well. Naturally, I decided to watch the game yesterday as well, even though I didn't really have much time to waste.

First half of the game is amazing. Croats are playing very aggressive and are constantly attacking (which, I presume, most of you know if you watched the game). I'm thinking "Come on, the goal is just bound the happen" and it does, Perišić scores an amazing goal in 37th minute. So the first half is over, we lead 1-0. The second half begins, not long after Rakitić scores as well. Croatia is leading 2-0 and I'm so happy because this means we have a big chance of getting out of the group stage which I do not remember when was the last time it happened. So the game continues and after some time Czech Republic scores so it's 2-1 now. It's fine, we're still leading, we can win this. It's about 85th minute on the clock and I'm just saying to myself "Come on, guys, you can do this, just hang in there, don't let them score". And then the shit happens.

We see the flares coming on the field and we all know what's up. A couple of idiots decided to ruin the game for all of us because they are "fighting against the system" or what not (you can read more about it on this reddit post. Not long after, a fight between those hooligans and fans breaks out.

The game is continued soon after, but our players are visibly frustrated which then leads to Czech Republic getting a penalty and scoring for 2-2. At this point I am very pissed and would honestly kick all those hooligans in the nutsack if I had the opportunity. I call my father to see if he's "proud" of our so called "fans" and I feel tears on his eyes over the phone. I felt really shitty after that game, to be honest, and when it began I thought this would be the best game I would see in my life. I am not salty that the game ended in a tie, hell, it could've ended like that even without the incident and I would have still enjoyed the game a lot. I am pissed of because that shit had to happen and it had to be Croats doing that same shit again. Who the hell does that when their team is about to win the game?

So thank you. Thank you, you idiotic "fans" for ruining the game not just for my father and me, but for all of us that watched it. Thank you for showing us how much you love and care about your country and your national team. You showed us that really good with your actions. Thank you for representing your country to the world in the most brightest light you could ever do. Thank you for being real football fans and showing us how to truly cheer for the national team. We should all look up to you. I sure hope someone will put flares up your assess and you get jailed the moment your feet touch the Croatian ground. At least you could have had some respect towards our captain, Darijo Srna, if not to anyone else. He could've just say "Fuck it" and stay back home with his family not playing a game for the rest of the championship, but instead he got back to France and gave his every thing. I'm just surprised this incident happened with all the security and them having the information that this could happen as it was planned and posted around on Social Media. Maybe they didn't investigate on purpose, maybe they did not, I hope I never find out. We will get punished for sure, maybe even DQ'd, because of a few people, yet again.

I am really proud of our guys for playing a great game and sure hope they will do great as well against Spain in the next match. Last night's incident was something that ruined football for me again and I don't think I will watch the next championship because that. I might watch a game or two of some other countries I like, but sure as hell won't watch it with the passion I felt at the beggining of last night's match. It makes me sad that this stuff tends to happen a lot and I cannot enjoy football like I could as a kid without knowing there's this and corruption around every corner. It brings tears to my eyes just remembering how much those idiots embarrassed our country last night. Sadly, we will never move forward as a whole with people like that representing us to the world in the most negative light.
