I "see" things before they happen

This only happened to me once to my recollection. So I was smoking weed with the boys under a bridge, as you do on Friday nights; and this weird thought pops into my head. One of my friends standing over his dad, crying his eyes out (as you do when you watch your dad die). I couldn’t just say “bro I totally saw the future”. What I’d told him at the time was “appreciate people you have before they leave you”. He’s just brushed this off like “yeah dude ok” but really what can you say about that, what can I say about what I saw? What could I say about it actually happening?

I was never religious before, but I think things happen for a reason whether the mind plays tricks or not. I really like the idea from the book 11/22/63 that time doesn’t want to be changed. Jake Epping (the man who went down the rabbit hole to 1953) was in the wrong time, time pushed him; I can feel it push me in similar ways, yet I’m a man of my time and looking at my own ideas and experiencesI understand knowledge is power.

It makes me wonder about simulation theory (not just this but many many synchronicities and dreams about Nikolai Tesla but this is getting ranty already). Maybe it’s easier to see this life as the technology that’s prevalent in our lives. Maybe it’s a new way of explaining old ideas. Whatever it is it’s damn crazy; this is all we can tell for sure from our human perspective.

Tl;Dr I’m a witch doctor
