things that bother me with Iceborne

  1. You probably just need your eyes checked. If you latch onto a different part of the body than you hit, it's because you didn't actually hit the part of the body you thought you did

Clutch Claw Hitboxes are bad dude, did you ever use it? because if, you would know that that happens a lot, why am i even responsing to you

  1. That's literally just meta building. Building for damage. The thing you just said you didn't do.

it's not because meta means the most effective set and i'm also using some non damage skills

  1. I still don't know what you're trying to say here. The monsters roar for too long? You ever hear a dog let out a single bark and then stop? Or hear a lion growl for less than 5 seconds?

why are you comparing real life shit to a video game?! Monster Hunter is a bad example for realism and that's good so, otherwise it would be boring

  1. That's exactly my point that you just overexplained. Balanced doesn't mean every weapon has every strength and 0 weaknesses. The solo record for killing Behemoth with DB is 10 minutes. Lance is nearly 17. AND THAT'S TOTALLY OK. You ever play an MMORPG? A tank doesn't deal as much damage as a DPS class. A tank also doesn't get one shot by literally anything like a DPS class would. You make a tradeoff, damage for defense. Ranged weapons are a totally different story, but they do require tons of micromanaging to get higher DPS than the melee classes.

Monster Hunter isn't an mmo, i play it mostly solo and i see how huge the difference is, Lance needs a huge buff, because other weapons have similar good defensive options: HBG has a good block, CB has Guard Point, LS has foresight slash, DB has this Dash which has good i frames and so on but these weapons also have much more Damage output like your example 17 min vs 10 min, this isn't good balancing, it would be good if the other weapons wouldn't have these defensive options
