So... I get where you are coming from. If I could, and I'm not trying to be rude, make some suggestions.
1) I assume you are a single man... sorry if I'm wrong. Say "hey, wanna hang out sometime" Get their name- connect on facebook or via text/email. It gets easier with practice.
2) It sucks having to work... most of us have to though. The key with that though is trying, as hard as you can, to find something that you actually like to do so it feels less like work. Or try to make your current job that's painful as fun as possible. It really can be the dumbest things that feel good after a while.
Needy family? well... again it depends if you are talking about your mom and dad or a wife and kids. I gather from your comment history you mean parents/siblings... I could be wrong. I hope I'm not wrong though. Make the time for fun/exciting things. I know, that sounds shitty of me to say but it's really that simple. Tell people that you are busy this evening, that evening... and go do something you have always wanted to. I see you like some intense metal stuff- go to more concerts. When I was younger the first concert I went to was Ill Nino, Mushroomhead, Drowning Pool, Coal Chamber, and I forget who else/anyone else. I then went on to see a big concert with several stages. Fun as shit. Just an idea.
Fuck TV... I unplugged 10 years ago and haven't missed it. Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other random shows I get off the internet is all I ever watch. Hardly ever a commercial.
I go on facebook and I hate what I see sometimes. I'm atheist and I cringe every last time I see someone say "pray for me" or when I see the newest news about another child missing... about another rapper doing this or that... I really hate it and I wait for the day that I can tailor facebook to omit all those things I hate. I just don't go on it often- problem solved.
Everything else though... man.. have you thought about going to talk to somebody? You sound exceptionally down and out. No option to travel? Why? Age? Family? I don't know about you but I DO much more than JUST breath, mate, repeat, and die. Fuck man- life has a lot of fun shit. It's all about perspective. I'm sure you don't need a married 34yr old stay at home mom with a 2 yr old telling you al of this... but something about your post makes me want to offer you a hug.
Dreams are awesome btw. I wouldn't had been alive to see today if I didn't dream and go after a few of those dreams. I hope my post finds you well. Good luck. Again- please think about going to speak to someone.
