Well, that is Reddit in general. But it's true. I posted a comment that referenced this, and it did get downvoted lol. I basically talked about how the mechanics-driven system is frustrating with randoms and boring if you can find 7 people to do the dance.

I go to several subs and comment on a few... I have yet to encounter what I see here.

I have had people disagree with me and we went on discussions without going "downvote hurr hurr" shenanigans. Over here there's almost no discussion... just "downvote hurr hurr" and "insert insults".

Before you ask, I regularly delete my older posts and like others, I don't tend to keep a reddit account for long. I simply don't care about "making history" in reddit.

At most the mods can ban people, but nothing stops them from making a new account. Even with the admins banning someone, there's nothing stopping them from changing their IP.

Banning IP's is a clusterfuck because ISP rotate IP numbers between their customers. It can result on someone completely innocent not being able to access <insert site> because of it.

It's probably related to the number of complaints they get.

I saw the poll and the majority of people want the fanart on the sub.

From what I could gather, the complaint has to do with people mislabeling their posts and thus not getting filtered and/or people on mobile not being able to filter them out.
