Things that make you smile (AKA me fighting the doom and gloom)

I'm not trying to brag here because I am a shitty pilot and I know it. WT frustrates the hell out of me all the time and I'm typically a bad match away from either rage quitting for good or having a nervous breakdown. But every once in awhile you have the one that keeps you coming back.

I mounted up my trusty He-112 B (all my other preferred chariots were shot up and repairing for free) and headed to Khalkin Gol RB. First contact after climbing was a Thach Buffalo finishing up a strafing run. Ordinarily I might look to engage some targets that have climbed more and come back for the lawnmower later, but I hate the premium Buffalo with a fury that leaves me unable to resist the urge to kill at any cost. I attacked in a shallow dive and got pretty close before he spotted me...he tried a break across my path but I lit him on fire with some really bad deflection shooting. Cannons make up for a lot of other sins.

As he peeled off and I considered whether or not to seal the deal I spotted a Gladiator close by that appeared to be on a sightseeing flight...quickly put him away by murdering the pilot and he crashed nearby the wreckage of the now-defunct Buffalo.

At that point I was pleasantly surprised to see I had some cannon shells left and set a course for the furball that the rest of my team was in. Getting closer I heard my teammate calling for help with another Gladiator that was pouring gumballs into his empennage. Fortunately they were down low so I dove for speed and caught the Gladiator completely unaware, closing from dead astern at a rate of +100kts at least...quick burst at point blank range took off his LEFT WING and game over.

Immediately logged off and went to bed.
