Thinking of buying windows 10? buy windows 7 for a cheaper price and then upgrade to windows 10 for Free.

I still don't see a reason why at this point. I loved Windows 7. We still use it at work in fact (I work in IT, lots of different roles at the moment) but Windows 10 is worth the upgrade. I've been using it on my personal systems since release, and aside from a couple weird issues from doing an in-place upgrade rather than a clean one, everything is fine now.

Why not upgrade? I even left on all the nonsense people are complaining about, the worse thing I've seen is the Start Menu have an ad occasionally. I barely use the Start menu anyway because Winkey+R, and Winkey+E, and all the other keyboard shortcuts mean I don't really need to use it.

That isn't ideal for everyone of course, and maybe they'll notice something I haven't. But so far, it's been a stable OS that I can move around in and use just like Windows 7 with some nice features. It just seems silly to me that at this point there are still holdouts from upgrading, aside from corporate environments or strange applications that require the older OS. (VM?)
