You're also missing that laws can change. News laws can be introduced. Old laws can be removed. They can change with society.

How is that in anyway helpful? You said yourself, all systems of law are bad to an extent. Are you suggesting there is one perfect system that the changes in law are striving to reach?

How do we know where that perfection of laws is? If we did know, why didn't we enact it already?

No, that's a good thing. It stays consistent to its values and people work around those values. If you constantly change your values you have issues because nobody knows when the values will change again/many will miss the memo.
