Thorin's Thoughts - Replacing Wickd with kev1n (LoL)

Hmmm. Where do I begin. First off this definitely one of the best videos he's done, up there with the link one. My thought process previously went along these lines for the Kevin change.

What do you think Kevin brings to the team that wickd doesn't? From what I can tell he is a more consistent laner and is a bit more of a team player. He's also less stubborn and to me it seems he would be a more coachable player than wickd...by far. And it will be unlikely to have ehm item issues with Kevin. However I think sometimes he does back out of fights too early which is something wickd doesn't do which is both a good thing, and a bad thing depending on the situation. Kevin does seem to be a better fit for the team than wickd as he isn't as agressive and is more hesitant with his engages unlike wickd so the teamfights of EL could improve because of this. Kevins champion pool based off of last split compared to wickds last split wasn't much larger than wickds. Kevin doesn't really solve the shotcalling issues of the team from what I can tell I have never heard of him doing shotcalling so I don't see him helping in that regard. Nor will he make the team more proactive or aggressive. However EL are taking steps to make Nyph the primary shotcaller but if that will work is up in the air. Overall I'm not sure on how to feel about this change. I guess it's a good thing...

After watching the video I do think that Kevin should be a better team player and a stronger backbone than wickd was. That his role in the team should highlight the problems with some players cough rekless not carrying out their role for the team well enough, when tabzz was replaced I was very apprehensive with the change because I felt tabzz wasn't the issue but eventually came to the conclusion that rekless could become that hard carry EL needed since froggen can't always hard carry every single god damn game, that second carry role tabzz couldn't always fulfill. I was wrong. Rekless does need to step it up, his recent game on graves not sure which either the gmb or h2k one he actually had improvement in his game impact but that's just one game and more need to be done. Kevin does also require less maintentaince and seems like a geeat guy so hopefully his positivie attitude rubs off on the team, I think I underatted his champ pool by saying it wasn't much larger as well as overblowning the part about him backing out of fights too. So thoorins got me at least a bit more sold on the Kevin change. Ofc it still doesn't fix their other issues.
