To those on here with lower LSAT/GPA numbers:

As someone with a low (like girl low) GPA, here are my thoughts.

I think it is important to be aware of the situation. I think that a lot of people are just raising a red flag. People need to be realistic about their situation because legal jobs are competitive. If you want to get a big law job if you are in a school not in the top 20 it will be a battle. So, if your numbers can only get you to a lower ranked school it will be almost impossible to get the high paying jobs. I don't care where people go at the end of the day, just be happy. However, you should not pay the huge sticker price at these low ranked schools. They will not be able to place you in a job to pay off those loans.

Personally, I want to be in the best position to get a well-paying job in the field of law that I want when I graduate. I worked in the legal field for a few years as a paralegal and worked really hard to get a high LSAT score. However, I know my GPA will probably keep me out of the top 20 so I am looking at 20-30 with a full or almost full scholarship so when I finish school I will not be stuck with a lot of debt I can't pay.
