Those under 50, did you actually retire or just keep working?

49 here as well. Just crossed the $5M threshold, albeit with a million dollars still left on my beach house mortgage in SoCal.

If I were at $15M, heck, even $10M I'd be calling it a day. $5M just isn't quite enough to spend at a FatFire level without a real budget. I'm also looking at a decent payday in the next 18 months (Nothing crazy by FatFire standards, but around $2.5M). I think my new number is $7M and, like you, I want to be able to get outside and stay in great shape and do all my adventure sports while I'm still young (i.e. surfing, snowboarding, hiking) plus tennis and golf. The weather here is great almost every day and we can easily rent out house out if we want to go to Maui or Cabo for an extended amount of time.
