To those of you who are excited to go back in person…

Thanks for posing good thought-provoking questions. I don’t think they necessarily outweigh the significance of covid right now (particularly with the more transmissible omicron variant), but I feel I’ve done all I can to keep myself and close community safe. I’m double vaxxed (ready for a booster anytime now), wear masks religiously, and have limited most of my social gatherings since the onset of the pandemic. I also live alone and am fortunately not immune-compromised. I really do feel for the many folks who are in more difficult situations, but from my perspective, I’m feeling that having my small classes in-person is very rewarding and something that I’ve been looking forward to. I also know that there’s always a possibility of them moving online again, and I’d totally understand that, but I generally get more from my education when I’m fully immersed.
